A character's health is determined by a combination of stress, grit and conditions.
The game uses a dynamic health system that emphasizes the ebb and flow of a character's well-being in the midst of challenging situations. Health is not just a static number, but is represented by a combination of Stress, Grit and Conditions.
Players need to carefully manage their character's stress and grit to keep pushing towards their goals. Suffering harm matters, as the conditions stack up, a character's life gets more and more difficult. Take a severe beating and you might just end up with a lingering trauma.
Starting Maximum Stress and Grit
New characters start with a default number of stress and grit points determined by the starting tier selected by the director or the group for Character Creation.
