Equipment extends the capabilities of individual characters or the entire group.
Equipment is created as a non-player character using the same core character elements (Assets, Conditions, Features, and Resources) used for all character types.
When defining equipment, create and describe assets for how player characters can use the equipment. In the above example, a muscle car provides a simple Drive asset, allowing a player character to control the vehicle.
Equipment can also have features that boost their capability. Features for equipment are written using the same standard rules used for creating features for any character.
When characters acquire equipment control, they combine the equipment's resources, assets, and features with their character assets when performing actions. Any equipment assets used for the roll also become a target for any consequences from the result.
Conditions are also applied to equipment. Players can use downtime activities to add resources or treat the conditions for equipment like any other type of character.
